USA Today
USA Today is the national American daily newspaper published by the Gannett Company. Al Neuharth laid the foundation for the daily on September 15th, 1982. It has stiffer competition with The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times in terms of a newspaper with the most extensive circulation.

Barron’s
Barron’s is one of the most excellent American weekly newspapers, which Dow Jones & Company publishes. The paper came into existence in 1921 by Clarence W. Barron and is a sister publication of The Wall Street Journal.

New York Post
The New York Post, another American daily newspaper, came on the scene in 1801. Federalist and founding father Alexander Hamilton laid the foundation of the 7th most widely circulated publication in the United States, which became known as the New York Evening Post.
Since 1993, it is under News Corporation and its successor News Corp, which had its ownership from 1976 to 1988. It is also one of the only tabloid-style papers with New York Daily News.
Star Tribune
The Star Tribune is the merger of two of the biggest newspapers of Minnesota, namely the Minneapolis Tribune, founded in 1867 and Minneapolis Daily Star, founded in 1902. It has six Pulitzer prizes to its credit and comes under the ownership of Star Tribune Media Company LLC.
Houston Chronicle

Newsday
Newsday is another American daily newspaper, which is available in the Nassau and Suffolk counties, and Queens in Long Island.

The morning free daily newspaper published in New York City and by Newsday is amNewYork. It came into existence on October 10th in 2003 and is the first free daily newspaper in NYC.
